What we collect
The contact and application forms collect the information you choose to provide, such as your name, email, phone or WeChat, general location, referral source, experience, interests, and optional organization details.
If you use Google or Facebook to sign in, Apple Seeds receives the basic profile information needed to authenticate you and link you to an existing authorized Portal account: your name, email address, provider account identifier, and profile image when available. We do not request your posts, contacts, friends list, or social account password.
Why we use it
Apple Seeds uses the information to review your submission, respond to you, determine appropriate next steps, maintain an internal record of the conversation, and provide authorized access to Investor Portal records. Social sign-in information is used only for authentication and account matching.
What not to submit
Do not submit identity documents, tax identifiers, complete street addresses, bank account details, payment instructions, or other highly sensitive records through a public form. If such information is needed later, the team will provide a separate secure process.
Systems and access
Website security, hosting, authentication, and database services process information for Apple Seeds. Application and Portal records are kept in an access-controlled database, and access is limited to authorized team members who need the information for review, follow-up, or account support.
Optional interactive map
The project list is the default view. If you choose Map View, the browser requests street-map tiles from CARTO using OpenStreetMap data; this request may include ordinary technical information such as your IP address and browser details. The map library is hosted by Apple Seeds, and no map-tile request is made unless you open Map View.
Access, correction, or deletion requests
To request access to, correction of, or deletion of your Apple Seeds website or Portal account information, email the address below with the subject “Data deletion request” and include the email address used for your submission or sign-in. Apple Seeds will verify that the request comes from the account holder before acting.
After verification, Apple Seeds will remove or de-identify the requested account and social sign-in profile information and disable Portal access, except for records that must be retained for legal, accounting, security, or compliance obligations. Removing Apple Seeds from Facebook settings does not by itself delete records held by Apple Seeds; please use this request process.
